Invasive Species Eradication Day

May 4, 2019 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

The Ecosystems Discernment Committee is calling all gardeners and forest lovers to five days of convivial work, each from 9am to 4pm. Lunch is provided.

Two Invasive Species Eradication Days are scheduled for late spring. On May 4 we will focus on eradicating garlic mustard from the woodland edges.

For all of the work days, participants are encouraged to wear or bring long sleeves and long pants and wear appropriate footgear. We have a supply of gardening gloves but if you have a favorite pair, bring them along. We also have tools, but if you  have want to bring your own trowels, clippers or loppers, please label them before you come.
